Big names to go down in the coming days and weeks (2022). Likely one on Monday.
Sark is out to a great start recruiting off Saban's success. Getting a bigger new coach bump than expected (or merited). Pole Assassin and the monkey are doing some work.

Re: 2023 Texas Longhorn Recruiting Class

Disappointing, obviously, but as Vega pointed out there is an eternity before his signing day. This is why I didn't even post it the other day when we got a commit from a 2023 kid who might be the best dlineman in that class. Commits for 2023 mean very little right now...that said, that is a nice st...

Re: JJ Watt released

bubs, actually, I've heard otherwise. I used to know a guy who did physical therapy for the Texans and worked with Watt a little bit. Actually had to go to his house a couple of times...said he couldn't have been more down to earth. Said Cushing was a bit of an a-hole, but Watt was the real deal. An...

Re: JJ Watt released

Ray is an Aggie and was a damn good player for the Oilers, but you won't make any friends in Hempstead mentioning his name. The consensus in town is he ran Lawrence Marshall into the ground and really hurt the local economy by doing so. My wife worked part-time at Lawrence Marshall when she was in h...

JJ Watt released

JJ just tweeted that he and the Texans have agreed that he will be released. The Texans couldn't get ANYTHING in a trade for him? I was hopeful they could get at least a third, maybe a second round pick. NOTHING? This is a gut punch. Disappointed he is just gone for nothing in return, but also just ...

Re: 2022 Future SEC Champions

I don't understand what you are arguing here. You indicated in your post that Weigman committed to aggy and that Texas offered. I mentioned Herman's staff did, but that Sark's has not, and that they are focused on 3 other QB's. You take that as "spin". Okay. Vega, I didn't mean this personally towa...

Re: 2022 Future SEC Champions

Yes, Vega...spin. Now, let me look at this most favorably as I can for Texas. Yes, Ewers is considered to be the #1 QB in the country, and you're going to do everything you can to flip him back. But, since he is committed currently to another school, you can't put all your eggs in that basket. I kno...

Houston Texans: The Cult of Easterby

I thought I would start a better-titled thread to keep track of the disaster that is the Houston Texans. I blame Jack Easterby for almost all of this. This is the clown who is influencing every major decision for our professional sports franchise: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6u6FfealdI This thi...

Re: 2022 Future SEC Champions

I watched the Weigman kid play once this year. Looked GOOD. I was pleased UT was after him, then "not pleased" when we were not going after him. #recruitinganalysis. Watched some footage of Weigman yesterday...if you watch a two-minute highlight reel, you can make anybody look good. But, Weigman's ...

Re: 2022 Future SEC Champions

Herman's staff offered, but Sark's did not re-offer. The new staff favors Ewers, Maalik Murphy (out of Cali, ranked 30th overall), and Klubnik. Ewers is probably a long shot at this point. Word is Maalik could be close to committing to Texas, and Klubnik is a bad motherfucker. I'll take him or Murp...

Re: 2021 Future SEC Champions

Alabama signed 7 5-stars. 7. That's more than the ENTIRE Pac-12 or Big-12 or ACC signed as a conference. Aggies will get better, but still gotta take down goliath. Let's not pretend like this is just A&M's problem...if anybody wants to win a national title, they're going to have to go through Bama....
